Organic Sencha Green Tea is one of the best known green tea types. Originally consumed by Buddhist monks as a remedy and for spiritual composure, it is today considered a source of inspiration and vitality. Sencha means boiled tea: Sen = boil, Cha = tea. Firstly the tea leaves are folded lengthwise while drying on warm trays, then they are heated in wood-fueled pans in order to stop the fermentation. You will immediately recognize the long, well-worked, grass green leaves in this quality tea. After the infusion, the full leaf structure can be seen, and the cup has a bright yellow color. The fresh, grass-like flavor with a fine sweetness is a pleasure for each Sencha enthusiast!  Refill bag.

Steeping Instructions: 1 teaspoon per 6 oz water / water temp. 176-194 degrees Fahrenheit / steep 2 3 minutes / sweet with honey if desired

Ginseng Oolong. This tea comes from the Chinese province of Hainan and is also called Lan Gui Ren or Ren  Shen. It is based on high quality green Oolong where only the youngest sprouts are used. The leaves are dusted with ginseng and licorice root, after withering and rolling and before the subsequent drying stage. The cup is golden-green while the ingredients underline the delicately soft, slightly sweet flavor. This tea can be infused more that on once, but the first two infusions are most desirable.

Ingredient: Green tea, ginseng powder, licorice. In the case of high blood pressure, excessive consumption of licorice should be avoided.

Steeping: 1 heaping tsp. /6 ounce serving

Water temperature 176 to 194 degrees /steep 2 to 3 minutes

For a delicious detox latte, add 1 1/2 tsp to 12 ounces of freshly boiled water. Let steep 7 to 10 minutes (10 minutes for a stronger coffee flavor). Strain and add organic nut milk to taste. 

For a fluffy frothy detox experience, add 1 1/2 tsp to 12 ounces of freshly boiled water and steep for 10 minutes. Strain into blender and add 1 tsp coconut oil and 1/4 tsp organic vanilla extract, and 1 tbsp raw honey, Blend for 30 seconds. Pour into your cup and sprinkle organic raw cacao on top.
